Booking terms and conditions

Please ensure you read and understand these booking terms. If anything is unclear do get in touch so we can explain in further detail to avoid any misunderstandings.

The Cabin can be booked for a minimum of three nights and a maximum of 28 nights.

Please treat the accommodation with care so that future guests can enjoy the space. If you notice anything damaged, broken or not working during your stay, please let us know so we can repair or replace as needed.

Your booking is confirmed once we have received your deposit payment. It is your responsibility to ensure that anyone in your party also accepts the terms of your booking.

Check-in time is 3pm. It will usually be possible to drop bags off in the cabin if you arrive earlier than this. We ask guests to check out by 10am on the day of departure.

Due to terms set out by our insurers we require the names and addresses of the people who will be staying in the cabin. The insurers also stipulate that the maximum number of people occupying The Cabin is two, and only those named on the booking form can occupy the property. If you wish to change the details of who is staying, please get in touch with us before you arrive.

Bookings are only accepted from people over 18 years of age.

We ask you to pay a £50 deposit to secure your booking. The balance is due 4 weeks before the start of your booking.

In the event of you cancelling your booking, your payment, minus a £20 admin fee, will be refunded only if we are able re-let the cabin for all the dates booked. The amount refunded will be calculated on a pro rata basis if we can only let the cabin for some of the dates you booked.

Cancellation must be notified by email.

If your booking is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control we’ll refund all payments made to us. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments you have made to us. We recommend you take out travel insurance for your trip.

Sorry, pets aren’t allowed in the cabin due to allergies.

Smoking and the use of candles are not permitted inside the cabin.

Please close the doors and windows when you’re out. There’s an entire Tom cat in the village, and he would love to get into the cabin and mark his territory! Please also leave any gates in the property shut when you use them. The local sheep can decimate the garden in a surprisingly short time.

Parking at the property is limited to one vehicle. There’s more parking available a short walk away by the shore.
